BIOGRAPHY

He began his solo career in 1997.

For his first album "Omoi," he teamed up with world-famous artist DJ KRUSH to create cutting-edge music that incorporated hip hop, which was not yet mainstream in Japan at the time, and marked the start of his solo career, which attracted a great deal of attention.

In recent years, their single "Hide and Seek" (released on October 5, 2011), which was co-produced with TAKA HIROSE, the bassist of the hugely popular British guitar rock band FEEDER, debuted at number 10 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

During his solo career, he also engaged in energetic musical activities, such as working as a member of FAKE?, a band that was popular among Western music fans, opening for GUN'S AND ROSES in Hong Kong, and forming Tourbillon with LUNA SEA's Ryuichi Kawamura and others, which made its debut live performance at the Nippon Budokan.

In 2008, he expanded his field of activities by producing the music for the film "A symmetry" and providing music and modeling for Japan's largest fashion show, "KOBE COLLECTION."

They are also highly popular overseas, especially in Asia, and in 2008 they appeared at major rock festivals in Taiwan and South Korea, as well as holding successful solo shows in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
In 2012, the 15th anniversary of his solo career, he released his 9th solo album "Dive youth, Sonik dive" with a band sound and lyrics entirely in English. He also embarked on his first WORLD TOUR with the album (performing in a total of 8 countries in Asia and Europe), starting his full-scale activities with an eye on overseas.
At the same time, LUNA SEA's resumption of activities in November 2012 has been creating a lot of buzz not only in Japan but around the world.

The year 2013 was a whirlwind year for him, with a solo appearance at FAKE?'s 10th anniversary live (2/23 @ Shibuya O-°©-EAST), a performance at Zepp DiverCiry (3/23) to close out the 15th anniversary year, an appearance at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, a nationwide tour in September, the release of his second album (7/3) as part of the multinational band Muddy Apes, which he formed with TAKA from FEEDER and others, an appearance at Fuji Rock Festival, a two-man tour of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka with FAKE?, and the release of two singles and his first original album in 13 years and five months with LUNA SEA.

As a postscript, in 2010, he signed an endorsement contract with Fender and announced the first signature Jazzmaster by a Japanese artist, which caused a big stir. After about two years, in 2012, he finally completed his second signature model, "INORAN JAZZMASTER #2 LTD, Masterbuilt by Dennis Galunszka," and is steadily expanding the scope of his activities to the world.
